Artist Proof

Sunday Ride depicts the Bethlehem Lutheran Church near Waynesboro, Virginia. The church was erected and dedicated in 1854 in the small town of Ladd. The original congregation began as a “chapel” of Trinity Lutheran Church, a much older congregation located in Crimora, Virginia. Today, the town of Ladd has diminished and the building exists as a small country church surrounded by its handsome old cemetery.
