Description
Stone Pier
Stone Pier Black Hawk Lake, Lake View, lowa, features stone piers that are popular spots for fishermen and anyone who likes to quietly view the serenity of the lake. The piers were built in the mid-1930’s by the Civilian Conservation Corps in conjunction with the development of Black Hawk Lake State Park. Since 1980, the piers have been on the list of National Register of Historic Places and current restoration efforts are being made so the beauty of the piers will remain a constant at the lake.
