Autumn’s Faith features the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Built in 1863, this picturesque church was painted brown because only mineral-based paint was affordable during wartime. After the war ended, it was never painted white as originally planned. Inspired by the church, William Pitts wrote the song Little Brown Church in the Vale. Over 300 weddings are held there every year.
