Description

Sestercentennial Hanover Pennsylvania

The Hanover Market House, the Warehime-Myers Mansion, and the Neas House, which are all very meaningful to Hanover.

The quality minded shopper has, since 1815, delighted in the Hanover Market House. The Market has been at its current location at 210 East Chestnut Street since 1933.

The Myers Mansion was built over a period of three years, beginning in 1911, as the residence of Clinton N. Myers of Hanover Shoe Company.

The Neas House was built about 1795, and is a 2 1/2-story, brick dwelling on a rubble fieldstonef foundation. It features double chimneys and a steep gable roof. It has Federal-style details. The house was first owned by George Neas,  first mayor of Hanover.
